How to make Moussaka


“What should I make?” 

The eternal question that always fills our thought. 

Fakahany is here to make your life easier and therefore here is the easiest and quickest way to make moussaka.

the ingredients :

3 grains of chopped eggplant

1 large bell pepper, "chopped"

2 hot peppers, "chopped"

200 gm minced meat, "mixed with onions and spices"

4 cloves of minced garlic

4 tomatoes, "peeled & sliced"

A Cup and a half of tomato juice 

A quarter cup of oil

A Teaspoon of salt

A teaspoon of black pepper 


Method:

Sprinkle a little salt on the eggplant slices and leave it for 20 minutes, remove it from the water and fry it in oil until its colour turns reddish.

Next, take the green peppers and fry them in the same oil until they soften.

Then, take the garlic and mix it in the same oil and season with salt and pepper, then pour tomato juice onto the mix, lower the heat and leave to simmer until the mix turns thick.

Line the eggplant slices in the tray, add the peppers, distribute the chopped minced meat with the onions over them. Then add the tomato slices over it and pour tomato juice/garlic mix over them. 

Cover the tray with aluminium foil, put it in the oven on medium heat for 20 minutes. You can then grill it until the surface gets caramelized with that brownish color. Lastly, serve hot and enjoy.
